My name is Melissa Hill and I'm a Special Education Teacher at Boyd County Central located at Ramey Estep High School. I grew up just outside of Ashland in the Community of Westwood and graduated from Fairview Independent Schools. I received a Bachelor of University Studies from Morehead State University and a Master of Arts in Teaching Special Education LBD grades K-12 from the University of the Cumberlands. My work experience prior to BCC includes substitute teacher at Boyd County Schools, Teacher's Assistant with Boyd County Preschool, and Special Education Resource Teacher at Fairview Elementary.
I have been married to my wonderful husband, Brandon, who is also a Special Education Teacher, for 14 years. We are parents to three daughters ( Alexis, Ashley, and Allison) and a son (Kristopher). Our family also includes several dogs, cats, hamsters, and a gecko.
