Welcome to Catlettsburg Elementary. Catlettsburg Academic Team won 3rd in Quick Recall, 3rd place overall, and were voted to win the Sportsmanship award by their peers at the District Governor's Cup competition. Ponderosa Elementary Academic Team, with Princ. Brian Eerenberg, coaches Carrie Crowe and Donna Ford, and Interim Superintendent Bill Boblett. The team WON the District Governor's Cup competition! Boyd County Public Schools' District Office staff are Marshall Strong! Wearing blue and orange in support of Marshall County. Ms. Rudie talks about the book The Water Princess, a book that is a part of the Kentucky Bluegrass Awards program. In March, the students will vote on which book they liked best. Two students discuss what options they might take if they didn't have running water. The book, The Water Princess, by Susan Verde, which discusses the hardship of finding clean water, was read to them by Ms. Letitia Rudie. Ms. Rudie's class discuss the book The Water Princess after she read it to them. Students carefully and respectfully fold the flag.
