Welcome to Boyd County High School Boyd County Lions win against Ashland to clinch the 64th District Champions title for the fourth year in a row. GO LIONS! Mrs. Baldwin, at center, is shown here receiving the Presidential Award at the KEDC meeting on February 15th, 2017. To her left is BCHS Principal Thomas Holbrook and to her right is BCPS Superintendent Brock Walter. The Boy's All-Area Soccer Team members were recognized by the Board of Education at the January meeting. Pictured, left to right;  Logan Price - Coach, Ludvig Jaderberg, Payton Marcum, Zach McConnell, Logan Suttles, Matthew Ferguson and Tanner Evans. The team set a school record of the most wins in a season. Payton Marcum was selected as the Player of the Year. Both Payton and Tanner Evans have been chosen for the All-Area team two years in a row. Also recognized at the January BOE meeting was freshman Olivia Hensley who was named the All-Area Girl's Golf Player of the Year. She is pictured here with her coach, and dad, Scott Hensley. She was also named the KYGC Player of the Year. The All-Area Cross Country Team members were recognized at the January BOE meeting. Pictured, left to right:  Becca Chaney - Coach, Eric Sparks, Elijah Miller, Isaac Slone and Ray Humphrey. Elijah Miller (third from left)  was named Runner of the Year for the second year in a row. The January Fred of the Month Nominee was Ricky Corey, volunteer for Cannonsburg Elementary and BCMS. The January Fred of the Month Award was shared by the Coordinators and staff of the Family Resource and Youth Services Centers.
