During my undergraduate work, I was a member with a starting position of the Morehead State Football Team. I received recognition for being on the Pioneer Football League Honor Roll for four years and was a member of Kappa Delta Pi, an educational honors fraternity. I have been hired as a long-term substitute at Bath County High School as a Science teacher. I have completed my masters degree at Morehead State University in the area of Educational Technology. During my graduate work, I was employed as a graduate assistant with the Morehead State Football Team. This position had numerous duties including full responsibility of the equipment room, assistant coach of the weight program, a recruiting coach, and defensive coach.
My teaching style focuses on bringing enthusiasm to your students’ education. Using what I know about the education system and my experience in technology, I would broaden students’ learning experiences so that they will be 21st Century Learners. In my lessons, I incorporate a variety of learning styles. I use a mixture of hands on activities, Power Point presentations, and lectures to deliver common core standard content. I strive to include clips from videos or music in Power Point presentations that relate to the content being presented so that students can relate to what they are learning
