My name is Stacy Davis. I am the Physical Education teacher at Summit Elementary. This is my fifth year teaching in this postion. I spent my first 12 years teaching physical education/special education at Ramey-Estep High School. I received my undergraduate degree from Transylvanial University and my graduate degree from Morehead State Univeristy. I played both basketball and softball while attending school at Transylvania University.
I was born and raised in Ashland, Kentucky. I am married to Ryan Davis and have 2 boys, Tristin and Cameron.
My goal in my physical education classroom is to develop the whole child in every child and provide them with a variety or activities to motivate students and increase their participation in physical activities. My role is to serve as a role model and demonstrate knowledge of health, wellness and fitness.
My objectives for my students are to participate in developmentally appropriate activities, reinforce cooperative behavior, for students to develop lifetime fitness goal, and for them to increase their fitness levels, and to enjoy and have fun while in physical education class.
