Attention Teachers and Administrators,
The Foundation for the Tri-State Community and the Area Education Grants Advisory Board are pleased to invite Boyd and Greenup County teachers to apply for AEG funds for the '18-'19 school year.
While no separate application is required, teachers must post their innovative classroom projects on DonorsChoose.org between August 1 and September 30 to be considered for funding. Teachers are strongly encouraged to wait until August 1 to post to avoid projects expiring before the AEG advisory board has a chance to review.
AEG will award up to $500 per project, and funds will be awarded to the most creative and effective projects on a first come, first served basis. If applying for technology such as e-readers, tablets, etc., please emphasize how it will be used in a way that raises the bar for student achievement.
AEG funds are limited, so not all projects will receive AEG funding.
Here is a short instructional video about how to post a project to DonorsChoose.org.
Please help spread the word about this wonderful opportunity to provide additional classroom experiences for Ashland-area students! If anyone has questions, please email Kathryn Davis Lamp (klamp@tristatefoundation.org) or phone (606) 324-3888.
