  • Congratulations to the BCHS S3DA archery team, they are state champions!

  • Shout out to James Dean for his leadership in Carpentry, he is also the student of the week.
  • Welcome to BCCTEC Mr. Fox. Mr. Fox is our new Business Education teacher.
  • Thank you for being awesome with our students Mr. Meenach.
  • Shout out to the students of the week, Tanner Lucas and Cole Chaney for exemplary school pride and leadership.
  • Thank you Skills USA advisors for your hard work with the regional and state competitions.
  • Shout out and congratulations to our regional Skills USA winners, several will advance to the state Skills USA Leadership Conference in Louisville in April. Those students advancing are:
    • Welding 1st place - Rob Kitts ,Welding 2nd Place- Cole Chaney, Welding 3rd Place Jacob Workman
    • Beginning Welding 1st Place-Dylan Stewart, 3rd Place Hunter Davis
    • Chapter Display 1st Place- Morgan Vaughan, Elijah Miller, Isaac Slone
    • Carpentry 2nd Place- Jacob Palmer, 3rd place Drew Sorrel

  • Thanks so much to Mr. Meade at BCHS for helping us move!  You were a great help!
  • Bravo to all the parents and guardians who were extremely patient and kind during our dismissal.  
  • Congrats on a job well done to our maintenance and custodial team!  Our school looks great and we have everything that we need because of your hard work.
  • Shout out to Lani Thacker, Karen Sparks, and our great cooks.  You guys blessed us with great food during the move.  Everyone loved the mandarin orange chicken!
  • Thanks to Mr. Deborde and his wonderful staff for creating our numbered buckets for dismissal.  We are amazed at how quickly and nicely done they were.
  • A huge shout out to Texas Roadhouse for the food you donated to our hard workers!  It is greatly appreciated!
  • Thank you to Meade Station Church for all of your volunteers!  
  • Shout out to the great kids at BCHS and BCMS for volunteering your time to help with the move.
  • Thank you to all of the central office staff for your support during our move.
  • Thanks so much to our fabulous science department at BCHS!  Your help with our science supplies was very much appreciated.

  • AWESOME job BCHS Lady Lions basketball team! District and Region Champs. We are on our way to the state tourney.
  • AWESOME job BCHS Lions Basketball team! 64th District Champs and continuing on in the region tournament this week.
  • Thank you Sam Williams, Brad Williams, and Zack Allen. We appreciate all that you do with keeping our technology up and running.
  • Shout out to Mrs. Marcum for her leadership with the Operation Preparation activities this month.
  • Another shout out to Mrs. Marcum for her leadership with the upcoming Advance Ed review.
  • Thank you Tina Carroll for your hard work and efforts.

  • Shout out to Lani Thacker and all of the BCPS food service crew. Your efforts to keep our kids nourished everyday with wonderful food is outstanding.
  • Shout out to the best bus drivers and transportation department in the Commonwealth. Your flexibility and ability to problem solve is outstanding.
  • Shout out to our Sheriff and all of our local law enforcement personnel, we appreciate your ongoing efforts to keep our schools safe.
  • Shout out to Mat Spade, his day-to-day leadership is greatly appreciated.
  • Thank you Mrs. Prater for your hard work with attendance.
  • Thank you BCMS students, staff, and parents. We appreciate your efforts and flexibility over the last couple of years.
  • Many thanks to Tim Black, Jason Withrow, and Chris Barrett. Your efforts helped make a smooth transition from the Heritage Building to BCMS.
  • Outstanding efforts by all of our BCPS employees. We appreciate all that you do for the students and parents of BCPS.
  • Outstanding efforts by Mr. Johnson and Mr. Molinary and the BCHS pep band this past week. We appreciate the 6th man pep band always playing wonderful tunes.
